What is virgin hair?
Virgin hair is hair that hasn’t been chemically altered, bleached or dyed. Also, the unprocessed hair still has the cuticles intact. It is the most desired type of hair, due to its long-lasting nature and flexibility.
Why does my virgin hair have grey hairs?
Virgin hair is completely unprocessed; therefore, it is very normal for virgin hair to have a little to a few gray hairs.
Our hair specs?
We only provide 100% virgin human hair. Since our LuxeHair is virgin, it will only come in its natural colour tone (which ranges from off black to medium brown). We do NOT offer 5a,7a,10a, Peruvian, Cambodian, etc hair that a lot of pop-up companies do.
Simply, our grading is based solely on sourced origin, quality promise and control. Our hair is meant to last for up to a year to even longer! Please note: most of our hair is single drawn (collected from one donor’s ponytail), providing a natural healthy taper at ends. All of our bundles comes at least an inch or 2 longer than listed length stated (ex: 14″ (15″-16″).
At this time, we do not offer custom coloring; however, we do offer bleaching of our lace closures as an add on service. Our hair weighs in approx: 3.5 to 3.8oz.
No two bundles of Virgin hair are the same. Since LHC’s hair is Virgin, each bundle will have a different texture, pattern and slight variation of colour than what you may have seen in photos. We will strive to send you hair that matches as closely as possible.
Machine wefted vs. hand-tied weft
Machine wefts are made by sewing strands of hair together with a hair sewing machine. Hand-tied wefts are made by tying strands of hair around a weaving thread; all done by hand. Because this is done by hand, machines wefts are more durable and longer lasting.
What is Cowashing?
A co-wash is when you wash your hair only using conditioner. The conditioner is used to provide your hair with moisture and shine, and also helps hydrate the hair. We recommend you co wash your virgin hair prior to install.
Can I cut the weft?
Our wefts are not meant to be cut. If you decide to do so, we recommend using a weft sealer to seal the ends.
How do I track my order?
You will receive an email with your tracking number announcing that your order has been shipped. You can either click on the link that will take you to the tracking page or you are also welcome to log into your account to view orders and tracking number info. Please allow 24 hours for USPS to update tracking information.
Do we have a showroom?
At this time Luxe Hair does not have a showroom. We are making plans to showcase our Luxe Hair to our local loyalists in the future. Please stay tuned when we make that announcement.
